Stevia.

Met one of my ILC mates, Peter earlier this week and he said he was interested in a plant called stevia. Well, to be honest, I didn't know what the heck stevia was.

I was guessing it was plant green in color (huh? all plants are green in color, aren't they?)

Anyway, he was interested to increase his income with additional businesses on a part times basis to supplement his current income.

Then I remembered that one of my colleagues, Nazrul have done this before and knows a thing or two about stevia and I arranged for a meeting after office hours on Friday.

We met up and they talked and tried to figure out how to go about the whole process, from the start to the production or even manufacturing of the processed sugar. All this while me and Bert were making fun of them and chipping in with our nonsense every now and then.

Personally, I'm astonished to hear the number of people who are into the agriculture business e.g. stevia. Plus, I was pretty impressed with the plant itself - tastes sweet, minus the calories! Now that's something AWESOME, ain't it?

After much discussion, I think Peter is now really interested to get his hand dirty with this venture and I believe he should do so. Maybe I will do the same one day, when I have the time... and the money.
