But then after work was just tiring. I had to follow my dad to Melaka for one of his trips to visit his Melaka branch. I drove the first part of the journey, while I can keep my eyes open. Plus all I was thinking was how to get my Toastmaster's speech ready! I was going to talk about Straight Edge and I knew I can't screw up the only chance I have to impress the audience with this terminology.
Once we reached Melaka, I was super hungry. And the moment I stepped out from the car, I straight headed to the Chinese restaurant in front of me for dinner. I was at a place called Taman Seaview, Ujong Pasir and the restaurant people seemed quite stuck up (... good English though, I have to admit that!).
Once we were done with out dinner, we headed to the Melaka branch office. Ahhh! Now I had a window of opportunity to complete my speech. So I started doing my speech and finished it, feeling quite satisfied with the end product.
Wish me luck for the presentation tomorrow! It's been a while since I last presented a speech in front of a crowd. And to have such a serious topic, I definitely need all the luck I can get!
